another snow day

We're having another snow storm today, and it's a long one. We have over a foot of snow so far, and I think I just heard there's a second storm coming later tonight after this one has ended. There is a crazy looking, gigantic snow cat thing plowing our road right now. Henry luckily has not thrown up again, but he has had a fever since yesterday afternoon so he isn't feeling great. Right now he's upstairs fighting a nap, poor little guy. I think I'm going to bring him down and let him nap while nursing. We have been keeping ourselves busy today and trying to keep Henry happy. Chris is working from home because of the snow, so we got to have lunch all together.

This morning Celia worked on making a leprechaun house. There have been leprechauns visiting our house every so often and doing mischievous things. Mostly they just mix things up and collect piles of green things, but yesterday they left giant green bow ties on our teddy bears. (You will see Celia wearing it as a ridiculous hair bow in the pictures.)

Then the littles colored with crayons. Henry can't really do much, but he likes playing with the crayons.

The bow is crazy. She wore it for fun since we weren't going anywhere today.

They have also been riding their riding toys together lately. Henry is just big enough to scoot around on his dump truck now.

I have also discovered that Henry really likes to clean things. I give him a damp cloth and he goes to town. After lunch today they spent quite a bit of time wiping down the Roomba. Child entertainment and cleaning all in one. They love Roger. It's possible the vacuum has overtaken the cats' place as favorite family pet.

My parents are coming down for the night tonight. I'm trying to figure out what to make for dinner. Maybe potato soup in the Vitamix?
