2) Let's talk about spring. When will it arrive? I was reading about gardening and thinking about window boxes last night!

| Last year's box on the deck. I'm thinking about having a second one with herbs this year. |
4) I couldn't get rid of a craving for candy yesterday, and finally ended up getting some. First I ate some kale chips, hoping the health benefits of the kale would somehow counteract the candy :D.
Wouldn't it be nice if healthy foods were like antidotes to junk food?
5) I went for a glorious 4-mile run yesterday. It was about 60 and warm enough to run in short sleeves! I felt a bit slow and sluggish, but it was so nice to be outside in warm weather.
6) When I was looking at garden pictures from last summer, I couldn't help pausing on some of Celia too. She was just a baby!
7) We played outside for a little while yesterday.
8) With the rain we've had, the snow is completely gone from one of the flowerbeds and part of the lawn!
9) Unfortunately the same can't be said for the one by the road. The snow there has melted just enough to reveal a lot of damage done to the lawn by snow plowing Bobcats.
10) Believe it or not, I don't have a great Outfit of the Week this week. Guess we didn't do much dressing up, or I didn't take many pictures. This came the closest, because Pita looks so cute and snuggly when she wears her slippers.

Hopping over from Miscellany Monday. Loved your post! New follower! :)
ReplyDeleteThe flower box is so pretty. We just moved into a new house in November and I'm looking forward to planting flowers soon.
ReplyDeleteShe was comin' to get you in those slippers!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is nice to see the snow leave, huh?
I'm so ready for Spring and it would be so nice to go outside right now! I had to laugh at the marijuana comment about being with the produce and not the snacks!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, your spring flowers are gorgeous! Can't wait for that time of year again, it's a'comin! Storms are brewing in our area, which means tornado season is on its way, that's spring for an Okie. :)
ReplyDeleteI love skittles. They are one of my favorite candy's.
I know you must have been so refreshed to run in 60 degree weather! Spring is 'a comin'!!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about pretty flowers and the fresh air too. I'm jealous of your 60 degree weather! And also, it's heartbreaking to see how much they change in just one short year!
ReplyDeleteOh, I cannot wait until the snow is gone here as well. We got another two-three inches today.
