On Saturday morning I did an elliptical workout while Celia played with Chris. We asked Pita if she wanted to go out somewhere, and she said "Play trains!" She loves going to the book store to play at the train table there. We stopped to have a snack at Panera, and Pita and Chris went to the book store while I went to find her some new clothes. I started worrying that by the time I need more 24 month clothes for the end of winter and spring, the stores will only have summer things out. By the time we headed home, Celia was getting tired, hungry and cranky. A Sesame Street video on Chris's phone saved the day.
We kept Celia up until 1:00 before nap time, and she was good and tired. She wanted to sleep with her Maisy doll, and went right to sleep! I did laundry, scrubbed the downstairs hall and bathroom, and did my least favorite chore- meal planning. Now that I have to consider so many factors (vegan, but sometimes with meat for Chris and Celia, something Celia will like, not too time consuming), meal planning isn't much fun anymore.

This morning we played at home. I exercised, Pita took a luxurious bath, and the three of us shared a green smoothie. We also played in the snow. I went grocery shopping while Celia had her nap, and felt like I'd won the lottery when at two different stores with packed parking lots, I happened upon parking spots right in front of the door. The lottery feeling was negated by the nauseating smell of barbecue in both stores. Patriots game day- I should have known. And I know, it's weird that barbecue nauseates me. I then considered becoming a Wikipedia editor as I drove home from shopping. Again, weird, I know.

Chris went out snow shoeing when I got home from shopping. I just finished cleaning the inside of the fridge. I noticed a shelf was dirty, started cleaning, and just couldn't stop. We'll just be hanging out (and Chris will attempt to watch the Patriots game) for the rest of the day.
That's about all! Tomorrow my parents are visiting, and they will watch Celia while Blub and I to into the city for a while. Should be fun!

Great weekend to me! I love her bath with a view. I need to do some thinking on how to get that here....hmm....
ReplyDeleteIf I saw a shelf that was dirty in the fridge, I would totally ignore it! You're better than me.
ReplyDeleteShe looks so cute sitting there in her tub with a view!
