pita's weigh-in
Today we had to have Celia's weight checked at the pediatrician because my tiny Pepita is, well, tiny! At her 12 month appointment she was 17 lbs, 4 oz which was around the 4th percentile. She has always been small and was below the 1st percentile when she was born. The doctor wanted us to get her eating more and come back after six weeks to have her weighed again. I'm not sure how successful we've been with eating more, but we've been trying. That's another post in itself. Anyway, today she weighed in at 17 lbs 8 oz. For an almost 14-month-old, she's still pretty darn small- still only at the 6th percentile. There's a 7-month-old at daycare who could eat her for breakfast!
(Don't you want to just eat up those chubby cheeks? I do, and I've tried several times.)
So the doctor was happy that she'd gained some weight and we have the go ahead to keep going with what we've been doing. Good news.
What the heck, let's close with another picture.
She uses the diaper box as a bed for her baby :). Happy Friday everyone!
