15 months

Henry turned 15 months on February 28th.

Stats: Henry weighs 21 pounds, which is at the 24th percentile. His length is at the 5th percentile. He has started moving into 18 month clothes, but some of the pants are still too long. He is still in size 3 diapers and size 4 shoes. He has seven teeth. His hair is getting just long enough to get a little messy sometimes, which is very cute.

Schedule: Henry's schedule is still the same as
last month. He is very consistent with it.

Motor Development: Henry is now walking much more than he was last month. He still prefers to crawl much of the time, but he can walk across a room and all around the house when he wants to. He is also getting much better at climbing and at coordination and balance in general.

Language: Henry understands a lot of language. He follows simple directions, understands words for actions and things around the house, and responds to yes/no questions (usually by saying yes). Henry Boy is using more words. He probably uses between 15-20 words. He waves and says "hi" all the time, and says "bye bee" for bye bye. He always has the cutest happy little expression on his face when he says "hi", and he is always waving and saying hi to Izzy, China, and Roger Roomba. I think because we gave Roger a name, Henry might think Roger is a living thing. He has even started combining 2 words once in a while in the last couple of days. We've heard him try to sing "Happy Birthday" and "Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star".

Play/Cognitive:
- Imitates household activities, like wiping the table or using a brush and dustpan on the floor.
- Knows what things are used for and uses them, like brushing his hair and putting on hats.
- Plays well by himself sometimes, but mostly likes to get into whatever Celia's doing.
- Likes to play and try to color with crayons, and use chalk at the chalkboard.
- Likes being silly with Celia, rolling on the floor and climbing on each other.
- Likes looking for people's bellies ("bebbis") and finding Celia's belly button.
- Enjoys any kind of music- singing, dancing, playing instruments.
- Plays a lot with cars and trucks, blocks, and in the play kitchen.

Personality: Henry is very friendly, and generally a happy little guy. In the last month he has started being more snuggly, hugging people and laying his head on our shoulders when we're holding him. He likes to hug stuffed animals and snuggle on top of a blanket or pillows on the floor. I remember Celia used to do the same thing. Henry Boy is also developing quite a strong sense of what he wants, and is beginning to have little tantrums and do a whole lot of complaining when he can't have something, or has something taken away from him.

Henry is such a snuggly, sweet little guy and is getting to be a really fun age.
