Henry was still sleeping.
8:00 Climb on Daddy time. Then Chris went downstairs to work and Henry had breakfast.
9:00 Henry was down for his nap. I started laundry, Celia and I read a book and played Candyland, and we went upstairs so I could straighten my hair.

| I'm getting so annoyed with my clothes. These jeans and the top are supposed to be fitted, not unattractively loose and baggy. Must. Stop. Losing. Weight. Stupid breastfeeding. |
11:00 Both kids were so cranky! It was terrible. Henry was still tired, probably, and Celia was acting up and constantly whining and yelling because she wanted all my attention. It was way too early in the day for this. I decided to just get us out of the house for a while before lunch. It was bad weather outside and we didn't have a lot of time, so to Target we went.
And yes, they are each holding a dryer ball in that picture.
1:00 Home and almost done with lunch. At Target we got Henry a fleece (too big though), Celia a cute dress, and Halloween costumes.

| The fleece was meant as a girls' one. Why on earth are boys' clothes so ugly? They're babies, not grown men. I do not want to dress my baby in black. |
Unfortunately I quickly realized the dress is covered in sparkles that fall off the dress and cover the floor. Awesome. I had to clean the floors because they were covered in glitter. Hopefully if I wash the dress it will stop shedding sparkles.
2:00 Cinderella and I made pumpkin muffins and tried one while Henry napped.
3:00 At Henry's 9 month check-up. He was 17 lbs 8 oz, 10th percentile, and 22nd percentile for length. He had a hep B shot and a flu shot, only cried for a few seconds afterward and then glared at the nurse. Ha!
4:00 Done at the doctor and now at the library. Celia got a book and a Sesame Street video, and colored a picture.
5:00 Home, the kids have had baths, and I fed Henry and made dinner while Celia watched her video. Henry practiced pulling himself up in a variety of dangerous ways. He cannot be left alone for more than a few seconds, it seems, these days.
6:00 Dinner time. Spaghetti with Field Roast sausage in the sauce, peas for the kids and brussel sprouts for me. Chris was in Boston all day doing presentations and having a fancy business dinner, so he wasn't home until after the kids were in bed. Unfortunately Celia was in the mood to pick a fight and spent dinner time having a tantrum because she couldn't have juice. Ridiculous.
7:00 Time to nurse Henry and put him to bed.
8:00 Ahhhhhhhhhh. Both kids are in bed. I can't wait to go to bed myself. I don't know how the littles have so much energy all day.

I really enjoyed reading about your day! Except now it's 10:00 and I'm hungry thinking about spaghetti and brussels sprouts! lol
