shaving

I'm in a blogging slump. Hopefully it will end soon. I don't have a lot of time or energy to follow through on writing ideas. In the meantime, I'm hoping things like cute pictures of Celia will hold things together for a while :D.

Pita had her music class this morning, and when we got home my brother stopped by to switch out some of his paintings in the living room and played with Celia for a while. She was pretending to be very shy, but was fascinated with him and kept saying "Mommy, what's Uncle Wally doing?" She eventually played with him a little, and after he left she kept wanting him to come back. After that, we had lunch. Celia had yogurt and at some point decided to stop eating it and pretend it was shaving cream instead. She was applying it to her face with the spoon, telling me "This is shaving cream". She was upstairs with Chris while he got ready for work this morning, so I'm guessing she saw him shave.

She didn't want to clean up, but I convinced her to let me "shave" her face with a wet cloth.

We played and read Goldilocks, and I brought her up for her nap. She's been talking and singing in the crib for fifteen minutes. I really hope she goes to sleep because I could use a nap myself!
