not so bad

What a day. Between a long morning meeting, a late afternoon one I didn't want to miss, and lots of other work, I ended up staying at work for more than a full day on a day that should have been a half day. It was mostly very productive, so I didn't mind much. That is, I didn't mind until I stepped outside and realized that I'd been missing warm and beautiful weather!

Some disappointing things are going on at work right now, and it's hard to stop thinking about them. But, Blub got home early enough to play outside with Celia while I cooked dinner.


The hyacinths are continuing their slow entry into the world.


We took a little trip to the library after dinner. Pita colored a picture of an Easter egg. On the way home she said it was beautiful and that she wanted to hang it up :).

Our washer is fixed and I got three loads of laundry done today.


Things aren't really so bad...

    I think it's one of the things about blogging I like best - once you start writing, even if you're in a crummy mood, you start listing your blessings and see that life is pretty good. Lovely pictures of the hyacinths.

    Isn't it awful that work can suck the life out of you? Thank goodness you can find it again in the beauty of home. :)
