It's only a few inches, so I'm really hoping it will melt fast. This had better be the last snowfall this spring. Pita's music class was cancelled this morning, so we've had the whole day at home. We took our time getting ready this morning. Celia watched some Sesame Street and we had breakfast, and then we played in her room for quite a while and did her bath. We played more downstairs, and before I knew it it was lunch time. The morning ended up flying by, which is pretty good for a day when you're stuck inside.
Celia's having her nap and I was planning to make pumpkin muffins while she was sleeping. I took out a can of pumpkin and realized that it's pumpkin pie mix, not plain pumpkin. First time I've ever made that mistake. So, I guess we'll run to the store for a couple ingredients and make a pumpkin pie later.
We may have a busy weekend ahead. I have a baby shower gift to find, and maybe I can find some things for the Binky Fairy to leave Celia. Chris has homework to do, I have cleaning, and we have laundry to be done and a broken washing machine!
That's what our yard looked like on Wednesday and luckily it was gone by Thursday pm. No fun. Can't wait to hear about your joke :)

ReplyDeleteI liked not having to worry about a binkie when Emily was a baby, she always preferred her thumb. There's no fairy to help me put an end to that though. Good luck on your mission!

ReplyDeleteI know you're over the snow but it was a really nice treat for me when I stepped off the plane in MA on Friday! It melted so quickly but I was excited to see it :) It has turned out to be a beautiful weekend just south of Boston. Hope you are enjoying the same!
