We're having a fairly low key day. Chris is staying home to do schoolwork, so it's a nice treat to have him at home. I got to get a workout in first thing in the morning, and then Celia and I got ready and went out in the rain to music class.

We had a good music class, and when we got home Chris wanted to go out for lunch. We went to Panera and Pita had a grand ol' time flirting with a table of women next to us. I should have taken a video because she was such a ham! She was waving, making faces, flashing big grins, hiding behind Chris and popping up again. Somehow she also managed to eat a small amount for lunch.
We got home just in time to get ready for a nap. Celia's asleep, and Blub and I have cups of hot tea and a nutmeg candle burning. He's doing some work, and I'm set to dig into the newspaper for a while before prepping dinner. We're having barley and lentil soup- perfect for a rainy day.
Have a good weekend everyone!
Ahh that sounds amazing... sitting in a comfy couch with your feet up, reading the newspaper and drinking soup on a rainy day. :) What a great way to end the week.
ReplyDeleteYour Celia is ADORABLE. I love her name!
Sounds like a lovely rainy day. Ooh, a nutmeg candle...where is that from. Sounds yummy.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great way to spend a rainy afternoon! It's warm here today, but the wind is blowing 40+ mph, reminding me I need to dust. My son won't sleep for anything when he's on the blasted antibiotics, so it's allllmost quiet. ;) I agree, a nutmeg candle sounds heavenly!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
I like your day! Dinner sounds so wonderful, and how cute that Pita was flirting with the next door table. :)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a nice rainy day to me! Especially the Panera. I'd have eaten hers if she didn't want it!
