blog award
Emily passed this award to me last week. Thanks, Emily!
First I need to pass the award on to 7 people. I tried to do different people than last time, but sorry if you're a repeat. Don't feel obligated!
Summer
Kelli
Erin
Kerri
Kim
Kaycee
Elizabeth
Then, I'm supposed to tell you all 7 things about myself. After all this time, I can't think of many exciting revelations. You all know an awful lot about me already, and if you don't you can probably find it all here in the blog. That said, let's give this a try. I'll think of seven things I'd like to do in my lifetime. Did I already do that last time I got an award? Darn, I can't remember. Okay, I'll try to think of seven random things and hope they're not repeats.
1. I am left-handed for writing on horizontal surfaces and for eating. I'm right-handed or ambi for everything else.
2. I have reflux. What a pain in the esophagus.
3. I graduated from a high school class of 30.
4. I no longer like cheese at all. Dairy products seem disgusting to me now. Who knew it would be so easy to give those things up?
6. I have always been a bookworm.
7. I'm thinking about running a half marathon this summer.
Oh, and remember the meeting I mentioned yesterday that I'd been dreading for so long? I have to say, I rock it in tough meetings. They're where my over-education really pull through for me. Though I may be sweating profusely and have a heart rate of 170 heading into the meeting room, once I get talking it's always fine. Even if you're nervous, if you know your topic inside and out there's nothing to worry about :)

I'm hooked on your blog too. Great job on your meeting!
ReplyDeleteThe left handed thing is interesting...I remember reading somewhere (think it was a baby book) that 10% of the popopulation is ambidextrous and I thought that was an awful high estimate. Maybe it's not so uncommon.
I graduated from a high school class of 7!! = ) Haha!
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you!! This is one I've never seen before and I'm so excited!! I love your blog, too. Will post on this tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYay for a blogger award.
ReplyDeleteJust think a year ago you probably would've never thought of not eating dairy. Good for you!
I'm sure if you want to run a 1/2f marathon you can do it!
Way to rock it in your meeting! Usually, you always know more than your audience, so relax! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the award! I will post on it tomorrow.
I have the dreaded gerd, too. Take care of that stuff, girl! I had to have surgery because I let it go on too long. Boo!
Awesome about the meeting! My husband suffers from reflux, do you do an rx treatment or anything natural?
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award!
ReplyDeleteNow, I wonder if your hate off all things dairy is related to your pain in the esophagus? My Hubby has the same thing and he loves the cheese:0
Thanks for the shout out Sarah!! My niece has reflux - ugghhh!!! Glad to hear about your meeting. I'm the same way, if I know what I'm talking about then it's all good:)
ReplyDeleteThank you sooooo much!!! You are the sweetest!
ReplyDeleteI spoke up while sitting in a group this weekend and my face and neck turned into cherry tomato splotches while my thermostat rose about 30 degrees. It took me 15 minutes after my short little tale to lose the red color. I can't do it!
I love posts like this! It's so fun getting to know other bloggers. :)
