the real thing

Southerners, allow me to show you what real snow accumulation looks like!

You can't handle this.

:D

Haha!

I'd like to show you what it looks like outside, but it's been hard to find a window to see out of.

It's been windy, I guess.

I thought I'd look out the front door since the windows were snow covered.

That's a lot of snow.

We're in a small band at the center of the storm getting 15-20+ inches today. It's probably not this bad everywhere. We happen to live in an area that always gets more snow than everywhere else, and we also live at the top of a big hill. I always make fun of Blub when he says we have our own weather system, but it's kind of true. It's always colder, windier, and snowier up here.

Needless to say, I'm home from work today and Celia and I have been just hanging out and playing. She got some extra pajama time this morning, took a long bath, and has been playing by herself a lot. I'm actually shocked at how much she's been playing alone this morning. She's been so independent.

I had time to start boxing up Celia's 18 month clothes for storage. We could get a few more wears out of it all, but several of her 18 month things are too small now so I decided to put most of it away. The 24 month clothes seem so big! It's about time though, because she's been wearing 18 month since last winter. What a peanut.

Pita's having her nap, so it's onto the elliptical for me! I may take the snowshoes for a spin around the neighborhood later too. It's still snowing away out there!

Celia looks super cute in her jammies.....I am so tickled you found a way for her to like bathtime again so it is easier on you and her....

yay for getting a snow day from school, do ya'll have to make them up like they do at the schools here in WV? One of my friends is a computer lab teacher at the high school and she loves snow days just not make up days LOL
