stuff

Random stuff today. Actually, 10 random things.

1) My neighbors have miniature chihuahuas. Yep, those exist. They've been yipping (well, it's a lot more than yipping because that word implies a relatively weak and quiet sound) out the neighbors' open windows nonstop for the last hour. Annoying?

2) The reason I'm able to sit here listening to that most obnoxious sound on earth is that next to me there's an enormous bowl of ice cream with crushed heath bar on top.

3) And I'm plotting a series of "accident" scenarios in which the rat dogs could become incapacitated in various ways when left on their leashes outside the neighbors' deck.

4) That rat dog noise. It just won't stop! I'm really starting to feel quite rankled by it.

5) I did an "easy" run today that felt great except for all kinds of right foot/ankle problems I'm having. My appointment with Dr. Dreamboat can't come soon enough.

6) It's starting to dawn on me that summer vacation really is getting close. Time to figure out what Celia and I will do with ourselves for the next two months!

7) Do you think if I keep referring to him as Dr. Dreamboat, I might actually call him that by accident when I see him? That would be embarrassing.

8) Celia is still waking up once or twice a night, and naps are completely hit or miss. I think we might have to do some Ferber to get on track again. That doesn't sound fun, but better sleep for both of us sure would be nice.

9) Dogs still barking.

10) Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful day! It will be nice to get outside with Pita after several days of rain and clouds.
