here comes the sun

Of course as I typed that title, the sun went behind a massive cloud. I'm still sticking with it as my theme for the day though. Celia woke up too early and was very cranky this morning. That in turn made me cranky as I started to anticipate a very long day ahead. Luckily she took a great morning nap and was one hundred percent better afterward. We went grocery shopping and she was so good the whole time. Usually she starts to complain and wants me to carry her before we're finished, but today I was able to keep her entertained the whole time. Not one complaint the whole trip! We went home and had lunch, played for a couple hours, and now I'm listening to her jabber on and on in her crib instead of napping. She sounds like a tiny little Jekyll and Hyde, talking, laughing and blowing raspberries one second and complaining the next. I really, really hope she'll fall asleep! This will allow me to finish the entire sleeve of Thin Mints I've been working through all day. One must have priorities, you know. Then we'll either take a trip out in the car (to get her to fall asleep- such a bad habit to get into but sometimes necessary) or go for a walk outside. Then more play time, dinner, play, and bath before bed. Chris won't be home until late tonight. So, we had a cloudy start this morning but I think we're ending on a positive note :).
