more fall fun

This week has been full of beautiful fall weather. We've played outside a lot, jumping in leaves, playing in the sandbox, and taking walks.

Yesterday we got Henry's flu shot, had music class, and then played outside until lunch. We went back out after nap, and the kids played for a long time in the sandbox. We brought out some animals. Celia named the giraffe "Gabby" and the zebra "Rhonda"? Hilarious. I have no idea where she came up with those names. She was making them food.

Then Chris got out of work early and we went out for dinner. We haven't gone out for dinner very much lately. I think we're now getting to a point where it's a little easier with Henry. We just go extremely early so we don't have to wait, and we're home again early. It's us and the octogenarians.

Today the kids played outside more in the morning, but then it got cloudy and cold. Celia and I went grocery shopping, and Chris and Henry went to the carwash. Ha! Henry loves that. Pita and I were very busy during nap time, making fun cookies and doing some art projects she's been asking to do.

And isn't this footprint ghost adorable? Henry made it at daycare.

  1. So pretty! Is that a wax paper wreath? We just did the leaves in wax paper thing today.
