We had a hot weekend. Don't be fooled by this cuteness. They were in the pool together for about thirty seconds before Celia started splashing Henry and then he cried and wouldn't go back in the water.
Henry has really gotten into reading books and it's so cute. Sometimes he goes and looks at books all by himself. We've also started reading a few books before his naps and sometimes at bedtime.
I discovered/made up a good natural air deodorizer last week. Our cat litter is in the laundry room (so lovely) and in hot weather it doesn't smell so great. I started putting out a bowl of vinegar with some citrus fruit and zest in it. It lasts a few days and works really well.
We went to our town beach on Sunday.
It turned out to be really windy at the beach, which wasn't ideal. Celia had fun in the water and wanted to stay longer. Henry wasn't so sure at first, but finally liked putting his feet in the water and kicking, and then started getting used to having his feet touch the sand. He really didn't like that at first.
Celia was helping Henry eat his yogurt the other night. Super cute.
We had a beautiful day today, sunny and low seventies. Celia went to school in the morning and Henry and I played outside almost all morning. We also went for a 2 mile walk.
