Moving on, other random things happening here...
- Henry has started going to sleep for the night around the same time every night. It makes our nights feel almost normal because I can put him to sleep upstairs, and actually have a little time to myself and read for a few minutes before I go to bed.
- Yesterday morning I took both Henry and Celia to music class for the first time. It took us forever to get out of the house, between Henry needing extra changes and Celia not cooperating. But once we got going it went really well. I was worried Henry wouldn't be happy because I had to interrupt his nap, but he stayed awake and looked around for most of the class and when he got tired and fussy at the end I just nursed him. The ultimate pacifier! Celia did very well too. She's always such a good girl when we're out, and despite the difficulties we sometimes have I'm so thankful for her when I see other kids acting like wild animals in public. And yes, we saw some of those yesterday...

| I can never get her to smile normally for pictures. Always get these weird faces! |
- Pita is completely independent with using the bathroom now! She's been trained for a while, but we often had to talk her into going because she would put it off when she was busy playing and wouldn't want to go. All of a sudden, in the last couple weeks she has gotten so independent. We put potty seats on the big toilets and she can go to the bathroom and wash her hands without us even there now. The only thing remaining is that she still wears pull-ups at night, but she wants to wear underpants all the time so I think she's motivated and will get rid of pull-ups soon.
- I never had a great diaper bag with Celia- just a nice bag I could throw everything into. But now with things being more hectic and having to carry things for me, Henry, and Celia I've been wanting a real diaper bag with lots of pockets. My old bag is a messy jumble and it's just not working. I put another bag I've barely used on Ebay to make the money for a new one. Smart, right? I'll probably even have extra money from that sale. Now I've gotten rid of an old bag I didn't need, it will be reused and won't be wasted, and I have a new one that's exactly what I've been looking for. I did some research and had my eye on this one for a few months.
Don't forget to leave me a question! Ask anything you want.

Now that's a very happy older sister.
ReplyDeleteWhat a hip and cool diaper bag.
I totally get the cheesy grin coming from the 3 year old, too. They are such little goobers!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE question and answer posts! Here are my questions, because if one is good, then more is better, right?!
1.) Do you have a signature fragrance? This always intrigues me. I've worn Mary Kay's Belara since I was a teen, and still love it.
2.) How many kids do you want?
3.) What's your go-to dinner when you're running low on time?
Okay, that's all I can think of at this time. Don't put it past me to come back with more, though... ;)
Uh, let me think. I am terrible at this stuff. The diaper bag is awesome though!
ReplyDeleteOkay, do you want to run another marathon?
let's see...
ReplyDelete1. what kind of car do you drive?
2. any vacations planned for the summer?
3. will you return back to work or become a sahm?
Your kids are just the cutest!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is your favorite vegan meal?
How did you meet your hubs?
What do you wear on a stay at home day - presentable clothes or comfy stuff?
When did you become a vegan? What led to that decision? Does your family eat that way? What did your family think? How many children do you want? What is your biggest fear? If you had a free vacation anywhere where would you go?
ReplyDelete1 - When are you going to update your family photo on your blog to include Henry (ha ha I know you are trying to get a good one of everyone together)
ReplyDelete2 - Do you have any siblings?
3 - Coffee or tea?
4 - What kind of music do you like most?
5 - Favorite movie of all time?
6 - Religion?
:))
