Welp, isn't it just my luck that the castor oil did pretty much nothing? I read so many horror stories about the side effects, and felt so brave taking it, and then nothing even happened!
Anyway, while we're waiting around for the new guy to be born I thought I'd show his room now that it's finished. There isn't much to show, really, because the room is very small. It was hard to get good pictures without a wide angle lens. Apparently there was also some major glare from the sun that I didn't notice when taking the pictures.
We didn't buy any new furniture. H will be using Celia's old crib, and the glider is one we already had too. The mirror and shelves used to be in Celia's old room. The red table came from my parents, and we repainted it to go with the room. The rug used to be my grandmother's. I collected the fabric baskets from around the house. The only new things are the crib skirt and curtains, which my mom made, and the alphabet cards on the walls. It makes a big difference to be able to pick out your own fabrics. My idea was to have classic antique-looking colors: white and cream, muted blue-green, rosy antique red accents. This could really be either a boy or girl's room, and the colors aren't too babyish.
Off to the midwife again this afternoon!

So cozy, inviting, and happy. I hope the baby will be here for you soon. :)
