1) I'm 29 weeks pregnant today. The baby's room is still unpainted and we can't agree on a name for him, but I need to do something so I sorted through some newborn clothes, burp cloths, blankets, and swaddlers over the weekend. I'm feeling pretty good physically. Definitely lacking energy a bit, and just starting to feel big and slow. I was never swollen when pregnant with Celia, but my feet and fingers are definitely swelling this time around. I still need to find shoes I can wear to work. Last week I found out that my iron is a little low- totally normal for anyone during late pregnancy. The rest of my blood work was normal. I am a little worried about my stress level with the job situation. Work is just a toxic environment for me right now and I can't let this level of stress continue for the rest of my pregnancy. Something's gotta give. Tomorrow I will update again because I have a midwife appointment.

| Good Lord I'm big. And tired and just woken up with a very fake smile. |
3) Ooh, ooh! And speaking of pumpkin, I found a shelf full of Pumpkin Spice coffee at the grocery store yesterday. I've been waiting for this! It's soooooo good.
4) Sticking with the fall theme, our local farm stand has early Macs and Ginger Gold apples. We breached the summer/fall divide Saturday evening by stopping for fresh apples and then going for ice cream. At the ice cream place, Celia was (as usual) making very loud comments and questions about every single person she saw. Lucky she's so freaking cute. Pretty much everyone there was laughing at some point because of the things she said.
At one point Pita was trying to get ice cream out of the cone and got it all over her nose, and said "I'm like a wild animal!" Haha!
5) Celia didn't nap yesterday, which meant for a long, cranky and tiring afternoon. But when I put her to bed and was leaving her room last night she said "Mommy, I love you" :)
6) Which is especially nice since she spent half the afternoon entertaining herself by hitting me and making time outs into a game by running away from the time out bench. Fun, fun... Obviously time outs don't work anymore because she thinks they're a joke. I think I have to try telling her no and trying to redirect her, and then just ignore any further misbehavior so she doesn't get any attention from me when she misbehaves. She only does it with me, of course. She spends a lot of time trying to get a rise out of Mommy.
7) Celia can have full conversations on the phone now and just talk to people all by herself. It's pretty cute. And yes, I've thought and worried about that cell phone radiation next to her little head... We've only actually given her the phone a couple times.
8) Pita still loves hearing stories about our made-up characters Chester and Zucchini. Now she's extended things so that Chester and Zucchini are her imaginary friends. She's always pretending they're playing with her. When she plays on her swing she's been making Chris push the swing next to her because Chester is sitting in it :)
9) Chris's sister and her husband have been waiting to adopt a baby, and the baby was born on Saturday! A little girl. So exciting, and what a whirlwind for them because as soon as they heard the birth mom was in labor they had to scramble to find a flight and fly to where the baby was being born. Adoptions can be so tricky and things can go wrong at any time, so it's very exciting that it all worked out well. We won't be able to meet her until Christmas and we can't wait! By then there will be two little babies in the family. She will be 3 months old, and our new baby will be 1 month.
10) Anyone else kind of excited for fall tv to begin? What do you like to watch?

You look great! Seriously!
