yowzers...

What a busy day. Chris took the day off to move things out of the condo and into a storage unit. We've had things stored in the basement and garage, and got them mostly cleared out. I've been boxing up linens, baby things I never put in storage, putting things aside for donation, and clearing out closets. We want to clear this place out so it's ready to show for renting, and so we're more ready to move whenever that happens.

Of course, with a 2-year-old little monkey around Chris and I can't both be working at the same time... Yesterday Celia and I were home alone and I was packing some things, and I realized she had been awfully quiet. I found her in the bathroom with half a container worth of dental floss, chewing ("flossing") away! She loves doing everything we do, and she's very interested in flossing :D

I also found Pita a little toy vacuum for $2.50 yesterday at a thrift store. It turns on and off with noise, has a light, and actually sucks air (very weakly). Best two dollars I ever spent. Celia spent all afternoon yesterday vacuuming!

Aside from packing and moving things today, Celia and I went to her music class. She did really well. She was singing some of the songs and really participating. When we got home it was beautiful outside, so we played in the yard while Chris made trips back and forth from the storage facility. Celia was very interested in all the boxes.

Celia had a good lunch, went with Chris on one trip to the storage place, and had her nap. Then her bed got delivered! Finally! I'll put up a picture soon. We don't even have blankets or anything for it. Now I have to finish cleaning up the house because we have our first possible renters coming for a look this evening. Hopefully they'll like the place, we'll like them, and we can get a lease signed soon! I would be shocked if someone saw our place and didn't want to rent it. But, we'll see...

Going for a second look at a few houses tomorrow, and hopefully we'll be making an offer soon!
