surprise!

So...

All this new house stuff has been pretty crazy, but there's more....

We're expecting baby number two! Twelve and a half weeks now. And yes, I seem to be showing a lot for just twelve weeks. I didn't look like this until past 20 weeks with Celia.

I've been chomping at the bit to make the announcement, but we wanted to wait until the midwife appointment today when we could hear Number Two's heartbeat for the first time. I'm due just before Thanksgiving, so we should have enough time to settle into the new house before the baby's born. It will be nice to have plenty of space for family to visit and stay over, too. I can't imagine what it will be like to have Celia and a baby. I love my Pita so much, and I can't imagine having to give her less attention to take care of a baby. But, it's something many parents go through. So, this is why I haven't been blogging as much lately, and why I haven't been commenting on all your blogs as much. I've been exhausted and not feeling great. In the last week or so I've felt much better, so I think I can get back to writing more now. My energy is back, and I only have morning sickness in the morning (what a concept). The second trimester is the best so I'm happy to be at this point.

We'll be busy tomorrow because it's Chris's graduation, and then our home inspection is on Saturday. I'll update sometime over the weekend.

Eeeeeeeeeek I am over the moon excited for you and Celia is gonna be the bestest big sister! I've heard you will realize you have equal time for both kiddos and all your worries will go away once your baby is here and you get in a new routine as a family of four or that's what my bestie tells me LOL! Oh and you are supposed to show sooner second time around Ive heard but what do I know I only have one baby LOL...you look so cute with your skinny self and sweet little baby bump! 10. Congratulations!!! What exciting news :) I don't know exactly how old Celia is but I'm guessing they'll be just shy of 3 years apart - which is what my two are - and I think that's such a good age difference! At least, it's worked for us!

By the way, the house is gorgeous! Praying that the inspection went well and everything with the closing/move goes according to plan!
