It has gotten hot outside today! Celia was excited to put on "summer" clothes the other day when it got warm, and maybe she'll be able to do it again this afternoon. This morning Pita and I ran a couple errands and then played at home until Nana and Grandpa came to visit. Celia has been really into pretending to go places lately. Last night she dragged Chris all over the house, pretending to go to all her favorite places. I think they went to Target, the bookstore, a restaurant, and the park. This morning she got in her little car and told me she was going to Missy's wedding (my friend's wedding we were at last week). She has no idea what a wedding is, but ever since we told her we were going to one she wants to do it too.
Now. I hesitate to even mention this on the blog, because in the past it hasn't panned out. But, we're going to look at houses. And I'd like to put an exclamation point on that last sentence, but I don't want to get too excited because there's no guarantee that we'll find something we want to buy, have an offer accepted, and rent out the condo at the right time. But, we've decided to go for it! Oops, exclamation point there... Anyway, we know the town we want to move to, have driven by some houses we want to see, and have pretty much obsessively scoured the real estate listings for those houses. We're meeting with a realtor tonight and our goal is to see the houses on our list as soon as possible, to get an idea of what's out there. Should be interesting!
It will all fall into place as it's meant to, and you'll find the perfect home. :) Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI know around here it's a buyers market, so hopefully it will all work out for you! I l just love this age, Q is all into the pretend stuff, too. He turns his toddler chairs upside down (with the legs in the air) and pretends he's driving a Bobcat. Cracks us up!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! Good luck!
ReplyDeletegood luck house hunting!!! it can be a very emotional and stressful time, but the end result is so worth it!!!
ReplyDeletewhen we moved almost 6 years ago, we were not sure if we would like our town since we were not familiar with it, and it was an hour away from my parents. we agreed to give it a 2 year trial, and were amazed by how much we fell in love with our community, friends and schools. now i can't imagine not raising our family here.
keep us posted!!!!
Oh, I know you've been wanting to do this!! GOOD LUCK!!
