It's 70 degrees today! (Let's not talk about the 40 degree weather scheduled for the weekend...) Celia and I got all ready this morning and went to her music class. Then since it was so nice out, we stopped at the library and went across the street to the park.
Next time we have a day like this we're having a picnic lunch!
A couple of women walking by stopped to talk. One of them said that her daughter always loved playing in the gazebo, and then she just got engaged in the gazebo. I told her that Chris and I did too. It's pretty neat that our kids will get to play in the same spot where we got engaged. Circle of life, and all that. (I'll admit I just teared up.) I've noticed that whenever we're at the park people will stop to say hi and talk. It's nice that our town is very friendly.
We went home for lunch, and Pita ate a lot because she hadn't had much of a morning snack. She is having her nap and I've gotten the house straightened up and started packing for the weekend. I will be away for a bachelorette party. Actually, scratch that. I don't want to think about it because I'm already having heart palpitations over being away from Pita. It will be fun though.
See you Monday!

OK...I adore her red shoes and her yellow outfit in the last picture. Glad you got to soak up the 70 degree weather. It's like that here and will cool down a bit but I'll take it while I can.

the longest I've been away was four days to have the second baby. It was easier than I thought but I had no choice. I think it would be harder if I was going by choice. Have a great time! It's what she would want for you. And 70? So jealous!
