friday

We are coming to the end of a very busy week. Chris had a big project and presentation due last night, so for the last couple days he's been either out of the house or busy working at home. On Wednesday night he wasn't home until very late, and being as paranoid as I am I couldn't fall asleep until he got home. I had been reading that great book I recommended on Monday, and well, it was at a part that was a little scary to read while home alone at 10:00 at night! My imagination got out of control and I couldn't fall asleep until I knew Blub was home. Speaking of which, I haven't used that nickname in a while on here. Not sure why. But, that's what I call Chris most of the time at home. There are a lot of new readers and you can read about my strange nicknames here.

This morning it was raining and I didn't have anything special planned at home, so it was good that we had music class to go to. Pita did so well at music today! She participated in everything. For one song we were playing drums in different ways, and she was the only child who stayed for the whole song playing the drum. She was really paying attention too, imitating the different ways to play.

When we got home there was some excitement, because it just happened that we had packages from from both FedEx and USPS today. Celia loves the whole concept of mail and the mailman. After the mailman left, she came running out of Chris's man room (also known as the combination half-finished basement, laundry room and cat bathroom- yum!) with a dollar bill she had found on his desk, calling "Money! Here man! Here you go, mailman!" She ran to the door and was waving the dollar bill at the window. She must have thought we pay the mailman to deliver things? It was pretty funny.

There was also some wearing of fish sunglasses.

What I didn't get a picture of was when Celia wore both raincoat and fish sunglasses out in public. It was quite a sight, and most definitely the outfit of the week.

Looking forward to a low-key weekend!
