worn out

Today started off with two cups of coffee, and unfortunately I'd had a third by lunch time. Celia has been awake a lot the last two nights. We thought her tummy might have been bothering her when she ended up with some interesting dirty diapers yesterday. Last night she woke up several times which is not normal- usually she wakes up once, or if we're lucky not at all during the night. So, I'm running on fumes (and caffeine) today for the first time in a long time. Hopefully the next two nights will be better because I need to be rested for Saturday's long run.

Still as cute as ever, the little stinker, despite the havoc she's been wreaking at night!
This morning we played at home and went to Pita's music class. She really enjoyed herself there. We went home afterward and played outside for a while before lunch. Speaking of lunch, boy was that a disaster. Sigh... This is just one of those days that try a mother's patience. And one of those lunch times when I must have offered her nearly everything in the kitchen, only to have most of it flung on the floor. So I spent lunch time trying to minimize the mess and Celia ended up eating not much more than half a Saltine and a few bites of banana.

Maybe things will be better after nap time... I'm planning for us to visit the park/farmer's market and the library this afternoon. Then, maybe listen to some more music with a stuffed kitty or two.

Not sure what I'll do about my run today. I'm scheduled for four miles, but not sure if I have the energy or the time to get it done. Maybe I'll just hop on the elliptical for a while when Chris gets home.

Wish me a good night's sleep tonight!

  1. Oh, these nights are hard, aren't they? They make the run that much harder too! Good luck, whatever you decide to do!
