Since we've been busy and away from home on and off for the last couple of weeks, today has been a catch up day of sorts. Chris left this morning to play golf for a friend's birthday, and Celia and I have been left to our own devices! She "helped" me with a couple loads of laundry and with vacuuming. I still more of both to do. We were going about our morning as if we had nowhere to be when I suddenly remembered that I'd scheduled a make-up music class for 9:30. Luckily we still had plenty of time to get ready and out of the house. Celia had a great time and is starting to participate much more in the classes. She sings some of the songs all by herself when we're in the car.

When we got home, we played and got ready for lunch. Celia is always playing with her doll now, and today she was putting her on a little car and giving her rides! She always narrates what she's doing.

Me: "Celia, where's your baby?" Celia: "Nap"

Now that she's big enough to climb into them, Celia always wants to sit in our chairs. She climbed into this one for the first time today.

Then I gave her a bottle to have before her nap, went downstairs for a few minutes to get the laundry, and found Pita like this when I returned:

She's suddenly a lounge chair professional.

Time to get myself motivated to wash sheets, finish vacuuming, and start dinner while Celia's still napping!
