home again

We're home! It's strange for Celia and me to be here all alone after having company all week. She will be so excited to see Chris when he gets home from work. We traveled during Pita's nap time today so she would sleep in the car. She only slept for a little over an hour, but the car ride was fine. She was in a good mood when she woke up and we just talked until we got home.

Celia has been very busy playing mostly by herself since we got home. I think she has a renewed interest in all her toys since she hasn't seen them in a few days! In the last couple of weeks she has become noticeably more independent. She often wants to play by herself and keeps very busy. It's nice for me to have a little extra time to myself, but at the same time I miss all the hugs I used to get!

Pita's also taken over Chris's favorite chair as her own.

She loves sitting here, and sometimes I put Sesame Street on for her and she will sit for a while watching it.

Celia's appearance has really been changing. She has started to look like a little girl and less like a baby.

I'm really looking forward to Chris getting home with the bottle of wine I requested, having dinner, relaxing while he puts Pita to bed (I hope!!), and then catching up on our week. Oh, and sleeping in my own bed! We may have some big changes happening soon, but I can't write about them yet. Not sure what will happen, but we need some time to discuss things and for me to freak out a little!
