our schedule

This week's Show Us Your Life theme is to show your daily schedule. We have a consistent schedule, but since I work part time it varies by day. I think we'll also be moving Celia to one nap a day sometime around this summer, so things will be changing.

Days at home:
5:30 Celia wakes up, and Chris and I take turns getting her. We're both usually up by 6:15. Celia has a bottle and we eat breakfast. Chris and I take turns getting showered and dressed.

6:45 Celia has breakfast, and I usually have a second cup of coffee. Then I get breakfast cleaned up, get her dressed, and we play until nap time.

9:00 Morning nap. During this time I do chores and cleaning around the house, blog or email, do some homework (I'm taking a class online), or do a quick workout video.

10:00-10:30 Celia wakes up and has a snack. If we have errands to run this is usually when we go.

11:45 We have lunch and then play, take a walk, etc. until nap time.

2:00 Afternoon nap. During this time I do more housework, prep dinner if I'm making something that can be done ahead, and sometimes read or watch a recorded show.

3:00 or 3:30 Celia wakes up. We might stay in and play, go out somewhere just for fun, or take a walk if it's nice outside.

5:30 or 6:00 Chris gets home. Depending on how hungry Celia gets, I either give her dinner before he gets home or we all eat together. Sometimes on weekends, Chris and I have dinner together after Celia's in bed.

6:30 Chris plays with Celia while I clean up the kitchen and finish other chores.

7:00 Bedtime routine starts. Celia plays in her room for a few minutes, has a bath, then pajamas, bottle, and bed. Chris and I take turns putting her to bed at night.

7:30 Usually I blog, do my homework, or read and Chris goes into his man cave to do homework (he is getting his MBA). Sometimes we hang out together and read, watch tv, or waste time looking at real estate listings (more on that another time!).

I'm usually in bed around 10, and Chris stays up later. We do it all over the next day!

Work Days:
The mornings and evenings are the same. I leave for work at 7:00 and Chris finishes getting Celia ready and drops her off at daycare. I get home from work around 3:30 and quickly prep dinner, then pick Celia up at 4:00. We play and get dinner ready until Chris comes home.
