friday stuff

We are having a great day today. It's a beautiful sunny afternoon and Celia has been in a great mood all day. We've been all over the house, and she has been playing independently a lot and really keeping herself busy. This is very unusual because she usually wants to be attached to my hip! It has been great though, because she's trying new things all by herself and I've been able to get a bunch of things done around the house. Celia's already a year old and we still haven't finished decorating her room. It has just been a mess of baby stuff waiting to go into storage, and things waiting to go up on the walls. So Celia played today while I straightened up, attempted to organize her closet a little better, and got out the things I want to put on the walls. Maybe this weekend we can get it all done and I'll put up a picture.

Here's an example of the kinds of things a toddler will do if the pantry's left open while you empty the dishwasher.

 

We have a fun and busy weekend planned and I can't wait to write about it!
